Kiwi Down Under Farm WON TWO categories in 1996 for “Significant Local Attractions” and “Business In Tourism”. In 1997 WON THREE categories, “Significant Regional Attractions”, "Environmental Tourism” and tied first in “Business and Industry in Tourism” with a certificate of Distinction. Plus winning in 1998 “Significant Regional Attractions” for the third year in a row and being awarded a certificate of “Distinction” in 1998, for “Environmental Tourism”. In 1999 receiving the very honored, North Coast Tourism “Hall of Fame” Award making Kiwi Down Under the first business to have ever achieved this award in "Significant Regional Attractions" category. Kiwi Down Under Farm has also been finalists in the New South Wales Tourism Awards for Excellence in 1996, and 1997, in two categories, including “Significant Regional Attractions”, and “Environmental Tourism.” and yet again in 1998 . This is such a big achievement for a small service oriented Australian family business offering a direct connection between the farmer and consumer products, and also helping to educate the locals and tourists to the merits of organic and Bio-Dynamic farming. Marguerite also won the title of Midcoasts “ABC Rural Woman of the Year” in October 1996, for her work in the organic industry and in education. Tom holds a position on the Certification Committee for Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA) and is a Certifying Inspector. He also runs a Consultancy Business for any persons wishing to know more about organic farming and would like to have their property certified.
